Sounds like a virus: So not much a doctor could do, but you might infect other passengers if you are sick when you fly. You can try taking 1 gm of Vitamin C every hour until you start to have diarrhea, then cut back just a bit. Lysine and Zinc supplements can also help fight a virus early on. Good luck!

See below: You should recheck your heart rate and temperature. An elevated heart rate may be a normal finding if you have a fever = or > 101F. But if your temperature is in the 99-100F range a heart rate = or > 110 bpm might be higher than expected. *If your pulse is high, or if you feel quite ill, you should see a physician now....rather than wait 2 days. I think you should: Ask your hotel desk/concierge for their house doctor or a referral to an Urgent Care type center. Your heart rate is rapid and with a fever and myalgias (the aching), you could have a strep throat/something else requiring treatment. At a minimum the doctor can advise you of supportive care. Presuming you are flying back to the US, you don't want to board the plane for such a long flight when ill.
