Perinatal anxiety: I don't know of any research that supports that anxiety impacts the baby in the womb. There is no doubt it impacts mom and your focus needs to be redirected towards yourself. Perinatal anxiety and depression is common. Consider seeking professional help and support from loved ones. Postpartum international is good online resource. Prenatal yoga is another helpful tool.

Yes.: Since taking an anti-anxiety medication is not recommended especially in the first trimester of pregnancy, it would be best to seek a counselor to help you with relaxation techniques as well as CBT to help deal with your stress.
