Withdrawal: sounds like he is exhibiting signs of opioid withdrawal. Also possibly steroid withdrawal. Would suggest running it by his prescribing doctor

He must call Dr: He needs to discuss this w/ the doctor(s) who treated him. It does seem like he is having a w/draal reaction - but only they can know what should be done. Did they provide any discharge instructions? If not, be sure to get some and any Rx's he should have for follow-up too. Have him call ASAP. Best!
