Diagnosed with ra at 34 and oa at 39. i just turned 40 and my lower back has both diseases. im allergic to nsaids and steroids cause heart issues. i take oxycodone for my pain. im in a flare up, the oxy isnt helping. any advice, i could scream!!!

Work up: Given the situation addition of muscle relaxant as well as high doses acetaminophen 1000 mg tid may help. Rheumatology and a pain specialist should be on board going forward. Imaging may provide information about what has changed. Talk to your doc about your concerns.
