She's ok: 5 ml Benadryl (diphenhydramine) (an antihistamine) is ok for your child because she is over 25#. Since Delsym does not contain any antihistamine it is safe to give with the Benadryl (diphenhydramine). 2.5m is the correct dose for her age.

Yes: This is ok. You could use warm apple juice with honey for cough. Just let her sip it. She is also old enough to let her suck on pieces of cough drops.
