Hydrate well w water: or warm herbal teas. Neti pots can reduce nasal congestion. Mix ¼ tsp salt w 1 cup distilled lukewarm water. More salt can also be used. Place solution in neti pot. Tilt head & pour solution into 1 nostril. Blow nose lightly & spit out any liquid that drains into throat. Repeat on other side. This can be done in the evening before you go to bed & again in a.m.

Suggesting sinusitis: Would suggest saline nasal spray with few days of Claritin. If you start experiencing fever, facial pain or increased drainage let your physician know.

Nasal saline: Try using some nasal saline. This can loosen up the nasal mucous and help with this feeling of it being stuck. There are many brands and types but try to find one that only as sterile saline in it and not medications. You can buy these at any pharmacy.
