If you do not have: difficulty to swallow solid or liquid food then there is nothing physically wrong such as tumor. It could be stress or depression . See your doctor to get checked.

Globus: Your description of fluctuating sense of throat fullness is suggestive of globus sensation which may be due to mucosal inflammation or irritation from below (acid reflux) or above (allergic rhinitis, PND or food allergy). A mass or infection would not fluctuate and wound either be persistent or progressive. I recommend an ENT evaluation and possibly prophylaxis with PPI or antihistamine.
