A member asked:

What does seeing proteinaceous material in one eye means? had eye dialited earlier this year and said eyes were fine but saw eye allergies. red lines.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably floaters: Doctors refer to floaters in different ways, and this is most likely a reference to floaters. A floater is basically debris caught up in the vitreous of the eye, which you might see moving around in your vision. These are seen when the eyes are dilated. If the retina is healthy then they are not much to worry about. If there is any be change in vision, though, get the eyes checked again.
