Often nothing bad.: It means you have a round mass filled with fluid in the adenoidal tissue. This could be a Thornwaldt cyst which is no big deal. Cancer of the adenoids is very rare. Your doctor will tell you if you need to get a repeat MRI or any further evaluation and how worried to be. Significance does depend on why you were having the MRI, though.
