Unlikely: Assuming it is the same virus causing his illness, then most likely not, as you had the sickness and developed antibodies to fight it off.

Very unlikely: You and your partner probably have an intestinal virus; the most common is called norovirus. Whatver the cause, you're getting better because your immune system is working. That same immune response also protects you from another infection with the same vrus, especially this soon. You won't catch it again from your partner. No worries!
