Sure: There's always a risk when one's fingers go where the sun don't shine, or even where light does shine. The usual way to eat infectious poop germs is by accidentally getting the germs onto one's hands from touching surfaces such as doorknobs, faucet handles, bathroom walls, cell phones, keyboards, etc... Of course, sticking one's finger where the poop germs live is a sure way to spread things.
