Possible: Viral infection usually does not last for more than a week. Your hunch may well be right and the lst thing you should consider would be to keep him off oatmeal (and milk added to the oatmeal). See an allergist if problem persists and be sure to keep the baby hydrated well. (liquid with electrolytes).
