See below: Zzzquil and Nyquil both contain antihistamines, so you’re not only duplicating therapy with the two, but raising the risk of side effects. Do not take both as they may be overly sedating and drying. Try one first, and if it doesn’t work, then try the other. If neither work, it’s time to contact a professional about the issue you are treating (cold/infection/sleep) for something more effective.
