A member asked:

What can you feed a diabetic lactose-intolerant mother who won't eat meat?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Meat: Lots of people don't eat meat for one reason or another and that holds for patients with diabetes. There are many food options. One I recommend is "NuVal" - an on-line list of foods and drinks that are or are not ideal for your mother. I hope she is paying close attention to her blood sugar levels.
