NoSuchThing; AllMeat: low fiber. Def: diverticulosis (meaning one has diverticuli); vs. diverticulitis (acutely ill due to ruptured diverticuli & whatever degree of peritonitis). Diverticuli driven by delay in emptying bowel (stretching of bowel leading to the diverticuli), inactivity & constipation. ↑ed fiber intake tends to bind water; of no guaranteed value in preventing more diverticuli. Empty colon; do not delay.
