Could be an IBS: It could be an irritable bowel syndrome, the most common age group to be affected is between 30-50, especially women. The most common symptoms are constipation or diarrhea and tenesmus ( feeling relieved upon defecation). This is a diagnosis of exclusion. Talk to your doctor re: long term medicine such as Lubiprostone or a laxative.
