A member asked:

What does a high protein count mean in my blood work?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: If all the proteins were elevated, you were probably dehydrated. If a specific protein is elevated then it needs to be determined which protein. Some causes of elevated proteins are chronic infections, liver disease and multiple myeloma.
