What is the treatment for reaction to mmr?

Usually no treatment: Most vaccine reactions are mild including fever or mild rash. No treatment. If the child has a fever from a vaccine or an illness such as strep throat they can have a seizure. That is called a febrile seizure. It is not from the vaccine, but rather from the fever. If a seizure happens the child should be seen in the er. Usually they are evaluated and sent home. Allergic reactions can happen too.

Depend on reaction: It depends on the reaction Sore arm and swelling use ice locally Fever take Tylenol (acetaminophen) if needed All others are self limiting and get better by themselves without any treatmnt
