it may have been the carrier to the vaccine but I would not get a second shot unless you are monitored. Good Luck

Egg protein hypersensitivity used to be (before year 2010) main cause of severe allergic reaction following MMR vaccine. Rarely, individuals experienced a severe hypersensitivity to MMR, are found to have a reaction to gelatin. You can still receive MMR vaccine after evaluation by an allergist under close observation.
