A member asked:

What is the treatment for pemphigus?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No one best medicine: Prednisone is the drug most commonly used to treat pemphigus. Other immunosuppressive agents are used either with or instead of Prednisone depending upon the individual's response & tolerance. All of these medications have potentially significant adverse effects so management by an expert in this disease and in using these drugs is vitally important. What's best for one is not best for another.
