Not yet: There is not yet a cure for pemphigus vulgaris, but the condition is controllable with immunosuppressive treatment. The usual treatment is with corticosteroids, which are often started at high doses, together with immunosuppressive drugs (azathioprine, cyclophosphamide, cyclosporin, methotrexate, etc.). New medicines called biologics (such as rituximab) are being studied, for treating pemphigus.
