Treat complications.: This depends on how bad the trauma is and what complications it develops. One of the most severe can be a pseudocyst a collection of fluid in the organ tissue of the pancreas or in the lesser sac of the abdomen. This is rich in pancreatic enzymes, blood, and necrotic tissue. If large, it may need drainage. It can have complications, like rupture, that may need more extensive management.

Depends on severity: Pancreatic trauma can be mild, requiring no intervention. It can be more severe, and may be able to be treated by ercp. Or occasionally it may require major surgical intervention. Even sometimes requiring multiple surgical procedures and prolonged hospital stays in an intensive care unit.
