What are some type 2 diabetes medications?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

LONG list!: Hi. Type 2 has many treatment options, some of which I never use anymore. There are sulfonylureas and meglitinides (many), biguanides (1, metformin), GLP-1 receptor agonists (4), SGLT-2 inhibitors (3), DPP-4 inhibitors (3), TZDs (2, pio and rosi), insulins (many), bile acid binding resins (1, colesevelam), bromocriptine, alpha-glucosidase inhibitors (2, acarbose and miglitol), and maybe others.
