Fever: whats your diagnosis? Why were you placed on antibiotics? You've been on REAL antbiotics only for a day. In my opinion Z-pack is useless. How high is your fever? Any other symptoms? Too many unknown to provide an adequate response. Please contact your doctor.

Common cold: If this is what you have had it is a viral infection and highly unlikely to be in any way responsive to antibiotic treatment which carries more risks than benefits. Stop these medications and see a doctor who will examine, diagnose and treat you appropriately.
