Bronchitis: In my opinion, Z-pack is completely inadequate for treating any significant bacterial infection. Talk to your doctor about a real antibiotic with proper broad spectrum coverage such as Augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate) if not penicillin allergic or Bactrim if you are, along with anti-inflammatory and bronchodilator with Mucinex for proper pulmonary toilet.
