E. coli: This bacteria is inordinately common. It is present on your skin around your anus and on the lower extremities. It has the potential, although unlikely, to persist on inanimate surfaces, but is not likely to be a risk of creating any sort of infection. If you are an OCD this might be cause to discuss with a therapist.
