I'm stuck w/o a doctor & must taper off 150mg sertraline (started w 50mg in aug) due to side effects. is 100/75/50/25 in 10 day increments reasonable?

Why are you stopping: That seems reasonable. Tapering slowly off an SSRI should decrease withdrawal side effects. What are the side effects you are having that make you want to get off entirely? You've only been on since August so depending on the reason why you may not want to go off all together to avoid a relapse.

Need MD help: Why don't you have a doctor? If lack of insurance, go online to your state dept of mental/behavioral health website. Go to a state run/sponsored low fee clinic near you where you can also see a social worker to help you get health insurance. Family centers, privately run, also have low fee clinics country wide. You need MD help for reason you're on sertraline and what to do with dose.
