In process of cross tapering pristiq 100mg to zoloft 100mg. im at 50mg pristiq, 25mg zoloft. in 4 days i am to go 25mg pristiq, 50mg zoloft. doc told me i could cut pristiq in half because im tapering so time coating isnt an issue?can i do this?

Meds : Pristiq or Desvenlafaxine is a Serotonin and norephinephrine re uptake inhibitor. Zoloft or Sertraline is a serotonin re uptake inhibitor only. Your doctor is switching you over in a fashion that you do not get too much SSRI in your system at one time. As long as you follow the plan you should not have troubles.
