Prednisone Taper: Unfortunately, some of us don't really listen or understand what our patients are telling us. Look Doc, I can't function at all with my prednisone under 5 mg. I don't know how long or why you are on prednisone. If you can't make him listen and it is affecting you like that, then maybe you need a second opinion. That's how I would handle it.
