What is Diagnosis?: 1 mg./month as a taper to prednisone would be considered an EXTREMELY slow form of tapering the drug off. For most reasons that people are taking prednisone and then, tapered down it happens much more quickly than that. Very unlikely that the prednisone dose or its taper could be responsible for the other symptoms you mention.

Prednisone taper: Your experience indicates partial deficiency of cortisol and other adrenal cortex hormones. Your own adrenal cortex cortisol production is not yet sufficient. There is risk. You can cope while well with extra salt and water, but your "stress production" of cortisol is impaired and will remain impaired for weeks. BP can be lower, and glucose can be lower while fasting, particularly when stressed

Not normal: Although you're being tapered off prednisone slowly enough that the usual withdrawal symptoms shouldn't occur, perhaps you need to be tapered off even more slowly. Or perhaps the prednisone was masking an underlying adrenal insufficiency which is becoming evident as your dose is lowered. Or perhaps you have diabetes insipidus. In any case, both you & your doctor should be concerned.
