Was on 15 mg prednisone daily for diagnosis od pmr. started in sept tapered down to 7 mg. now told to taper by 1 mg every 2 weeks till i reach 3mg. could not talk to doctor nurse just sent me message. could i have withdrawal what to expect. pls help?

Not withdrawal, but reoccurrence of the same pain that triggered the work up and treatment. Usually patients are asked to increase back at last dose that was holding the pain and inform their prescriber. A follow up is needed to reset goals.
