Injection: This conjunctival injection may be due to irritation from pollution, eye strain, viral infection (conjunctivitis). See your physician if the redness persists.

Conjunctivitis: this could be allergic, irritating, viral or bacterial. Some types can resolve on their own, but some require treatment with eye drops. Have a doctor take a look.
