Look elsewhere: Hi. Anything in high enough level can be toxic, but that's not likely for vitamin C. New onset night sweats is not normal and should be evaluated by a physician. It could be something as simple as the heater is on too high or you're using too many blankets, but also consider inflammatory, infectious, neoplastic, and metabolic causes. I don't think it's the vitamin C.
