URI: It sounds like you have a nasty upper respiratory tract infection - with pharyngitis, cough and chills. Often chills will precede a fever (a good way to make heat is to activate the muscles). You should be seen by a doc to make the diagnosis - it is flu season after all and I would want you checked for that as well as the usual germs that could cause this. Can you see your primary doc today?
