Not considered toxic: Like many foreign proteins we ingest this antibiotic is essentially nontoxic. In large quantities it can certainly cause gastrointestinal problems by killing off normal beneficial bacteria but these can be replaced in short order with probiotics.

It depends on the STD. Cephalexin isn't normally used for STD treatment. It might cure gonorrhea or, less likely, interfere with a positive gonorrhea test. - does that mean my test result for Jan 2 and Jan 9 is accurate? I only had cephalexin 3days?
