Aging: Calcifications of tentorium, falx, or dura mater can occur in 10 of oolder patients.Falx calcifications usually have acharacteristic appearance pattern as dense and flat plaques and are usually seen in the midline of the cerebrum.Dural and tentorial calcifications are usually seen in a linear pattern and can occur anywhere within cranium.
