Here are some ...: There should be of no difference between testing urine for either males or females as along as the condition and timing of testing fresh urine is right, i.e., allowing some 4 hrs in bladder, no contamination such as using azo, etc. But it is only good for Gram(-) bacilli not for Gram(+) cocci such as staphylococcus saprophyiticus.
