A member asked:

My urine dipstick is 2+ for leukocytes, 1+ for proteins, ph 6.5, sg: 1.020, everything else is negative. do i have a uti?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, UTI is a possibility though there are other causes of leukocytes in urine. It would take urine culture to be sure. Wish you good health!
