Concern: By your description, sounds like they could be veins. However, because they are hard, there might be a blood clot in them. Whatever the case, You should take an aspirin and see a doctor soon to have them evaluated

Take a picture: Try asking this question again with an attached photo! You may be referring to normal "branches" in your veins! Have you had blood taken from them?? Hope this helps\ Dr Z

HMMM: Tough to say what they are without examining you, so see a dr. for a definitive diagnosis. They may be calcific varicosities if truly associated with the vein, or more likely ganglionic cysts which are very common in the hand/wrist area. Best wishes.
