Check with your OB: You are best advised to coordinate with your OB/GYN doctor since you are pregnant. I would not ask anyone else's opinion since you are dealing with potential birth defects if you make the wrong choice. And don't be fooled into thinking that over the counter medications are not as "dangerous" or much less likely to cause problems with the pregnancy compared to pregnancy. Not necessarily true.

Tips, yes-pills, no.: Difficulty sleeping is quite common in both 1st and 3rd trimesters. It's normal - don't worry. But, most OTC remedies are risky when pregnant. Avoid any w/ aspirin and most all other pills too w/out your OBGYN advise.
