A member asked:

I constantly have crusty mucus and scabs forming. it gets so bad i cant breathe. especially when i sleep the problem gets worse. what do i have?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

You mean in nose?: Sinusitis is one condition which can cause thick mucus . Also anatomical problems, like one side of nostril narrower than the other side because of deviated nasal septum , can cause similar problem as it doesn't allow the sinuses ,especially the ones on the ceeks called maxillary sinuses to drain out their mucus into the nose properly. Get examined by an ENT dr. Do a lot of stem inhalation.
