Start with Sinuses: You should start by addressing the sinus problems. Typically sinusitis causes postnasal drip which falls down the back of the throat and into the area where the opening to your wind pipe is, causing inflammation/irritation. Begin with daily hypertonic saline nasal washes (available OTC) and nasal steroid spray to reduce the inflammation. Talk to your PCP. They can treat for bacterial infection.
