Zantac (ranitidine) is ok: Why do you take bentyl. You can avoid bentyl becasue of its side effects like bladder retention, constipation etcas it relxes smooth muscle. If with Zantac (ranitidine) alone you don't get enough releif you can swtich over to OTC meds. like prilosec( omeprazole). There is not much role for bentyl in Acid peptic disease ,probably in an active ulcer it may help to relax the smooth muscles around the ulcer site.

Probably not hurt: These two drugs can be additive for a sedative effect. Taking is for different purposes but should be safe. I hope you have seen or at least called the doctor in the interim. I would ask the advice of the doctor for what you are treating rather that continue to treat it yourself. Best wishes.

Safe: Taking both won't cause you any problems or put you in danger. You might feel tired/sleepy although because of the Benadryl (diphenhydramine). Best of luck!

No: There are no interactions between Zantac (ranitidine) and Bentyl. You should not worry.

No issue: There should not be a problem with this combination.

Not a problem: Zantac (ranitidine) is an H2 blocker, and Bentyl is an intestinal relaxant. They have different actions, and patients can/have used bot medications. Please make sure you use these medications for their proper indications, and as directed by your clinician or the package instructions.
