Not sure: If your previous meniscal repair is not healed in two years, it probably won't. If the current tear is on the other side of the knee, that can be treated during the arthroscopy. If your earlier attempt at a repair was unsuccessful, you may need to excise the torn portion especially if it is symptomatic. Only a small percentage of meniscal tears are amenable to repair.
