40 mg.= maximum: adult daily dose of Adderall. If it's not lasting 12 hours, changing to Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) may help. Though it takes ~ 1 1/2 hours after dosing for onset of action, it is a Dextroamphetamine preparation that lasts 12-14 hours. If the effect is not optimal, I'd usually add Intunive, a non-stimulant, as an adjunct. However, with all your other psychotropic meds, you need to discuss. with your psychiatrist.
