Check with doctor: After a new medication is started, the prescribing doctor will want to know what happens when the patient takes the medication, when there are noticeable changes in the patient. That is how dose adjustments are decided upon, or changes in medication. Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) does come in a 10mg pill, so the doctor might try that. Also, one should tell the doctor if any other new changes, such as a different diet.
