Is it possible for thyroid to "fix" itself? back in april tsh was high (4.8) and today it was in normal range. i have not taken any meds for it.

Yes, however...: Hypothyroidism can be caused by exposures to toxins or goitregenic foods or deficiency of iodine & other nutrient, so clearing toxins or changes in diet can help. It could also be lab error. However, a changing TSH could be due to thyroiditis so check for thyroid auto-antibodies.
