Meh..: Not certain at all for a 10 month old. I sure would like to get a good look at this. What does your pediatrician say? Is it worsening? How are his fontanelles looking? Still open? Where is his crib positioned in his room? Can you passively move his head and get full range of motion? If this is a positional deformity, then plastics referral may be in order. Demand answers from your caregivers!

Plagiocephaly: Go to see an orthopedist who specializes in children. Some areas of plagiocephaly (flat head) will resolve spontaneously and some will not. Best to get an experts opinion.

Exam: Make an effort to position him on his other side. Have his head shape checked by his doctor and if there is a concern, get an XR to look at his suture formation. All the best.
