Not ovaries: Other things can cause pain in the same place and the ovaries may not be the cause of your pain. Follow up with your doctor to continue the evaluation. Good luck finding and treating the cause of your pain

Examination needed: The best way to have your question answered is to have a MD examine you in person and rule in or out several pain causing possibilities. A ultrasound cannot rule out intestinal issues ,endometriosis or other problems.

Source Presumptive: & visualized in mind. Imaging exams do Not show pain or origin. However, ovaries are cystic (eggs develop in & are shed from cysts) & if no cysts (not likely age 19 if menstruating) then unlikely pain from ovaries. Could be related to any of many sources in area, including: small bowel, colon, appendix, bladder, endometriosis, etc. Emotions & past experiences commonly play a big yet hidden role.
