Physiological/normal: This is due to your ovaries cycling or going through various changes during the month. Depending on what the size of the cyst is, your GYN may choose to recheck this in 1-3 cycles. Meanwhile, if your pain symptoms are bothersome on a recurring basis, is is an option to go on contraceptive pills to control the pain symptoms, best to discuss with your GYN/PCP or one the HealthTap docs
